Red Bull Racing launches fan community

February 09, 2010

Martech Social has launched the Red Bull Racing Community for fans of the Formula 1 team. The community built using Martech's M.Social platform features all the latest social networking functionality. Fans can create a profile, upload and share content, speak with the team and receive regular newsletters.

The community has already attracted a number of members with one young fan describing the community on Twitter as "social networking with wings".

Red Bull Racing has gained a lot of support for a relatively new team and as a leader in innovation and technology, decided to provide its fans with a community that they could interact with. "We carried out a fan survey at the end of the 2009 season and found our fans wanted their own space to interact and share content. The M.Social platform provided the ideal solution to create this space" said an RBR spokesperson.

Simon Larcey from Martech Social said "It is a great privilege to be working with one of the top Formula 1 teams on the grid and to be able to extend our relationship in 2010. I’m looking forward to a great season and to be able to say, we are working with world champions."
