Senior ColdFusion Developer

Description

Martech is currently looking for a senior ColdFusion developer to join the team and help design and develop the companies next social application.

Responsibilities

  • Work with our core development as we evolve the M.Social product in to its next evolutionary cycle.
  • Develop ColdFusion components and Microsoft SQL Server database queries and stored procedures.
  • Responsible for designing new features and functionality, writing API's, making performance, scalability and maintainability improvements and play a very active role in the architecture of our core M.Social platform are all built using ColdFusion, JavaScript and SQL Server 2005.
  • Other Software engineering/developer duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High-level competency in the following skill/areas: ColdFusion MX / 8, JavaScript and SQL 2005
  • 4+ years working as a software engineer or software developer
  • Have strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to motivate and work well whether as part of an individual or as part of a team
  • Fluency developing medium to large scale, distributed multi-threaded n-tier applications
    Experience writing SQL scripts and stored procedures
  • Familiarity developing and integrating web services and API's
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented (OOP) development principals
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Understanding of third parties sites APIs and frameworks (Facebook, OpenSocial, Flickr, etc) a plus
